After School Art will be led by Devin Venters, HISD Art Lecturer at Red Elementary School, and will be held at Red Elementary School.

 

Times 

 
After School Art will meet from 3:00 - 4:15pm. Students must be picked up at 4:15pm.

Grades K-2 attend on Wednesdays
Grades 3-5 attend on Thursdays

There are 4 available sessions for the 22-23 school year:

 

Session 1: Oct. 3 - Nov 11*
Session 2: Nov. 14-Dec. 20*
Session 3: Jan. 9-Feb.24
Session 4: Feb. 27-Apr. 14


Students can request a seat for multiple sessions though they are not guaranteed a seat in every session.  Seats are assigned to students on a first come first serve basis and at the discretion of Mr. Venters.  Once we receive your registration we will send you a confirmation email.

 

Fees

 
There is a $20 materials fee for this club for the purchase of art materials. The cost of After School Art for 6 weeks is $70. The total price for After School Art is $90 and is due before the first class. Scroll down to the bottom to pay now! Checks can be made out to Red PTO. Completed registration forms and payment can be placed in an envelope and dropped in PTO’s red mailbox in the school lobby.

Five (5) scholarships per session are available. Please complete Registration Form and indicate that you would like the Wrap Around Specialist to contact you regarding an After School Art scholarship for your child.

There are no refunds for missed classes due to student absence. Classes that are cancelled HISD school closure will be rescheduled.

All profits from After School Art go directly to funding the Art Program at Red Elementary through the PTO.
